Kringkaste HTML5 WebRTC for mobil

 I Opplæring

Etter registrering og Logg inn, setup a new channel from Direktesendt menyen.

Kanalen vil vise flere alternativer for kringkasting inkludert WebRTC (HTML5).
Når du åpner fra mobile, Web-kringkasting (Auto) will also enter WebRTC broadcasting interface.

In WebRTC broadcasting interface, enable access to webcam from popup request.
After enabling webcam, interface should look similar to this screenshot, taken from iPad simulator.
On narrow devices, chat will show under webcam preview.
If you have multiple devices on your computer you need to pick the webcam and microphone you want to publish.
On HTML5 interface there are dropdowns to pick Video and Audio source.

From another browser tab, device or computer, you can access Channels Siden (frontend site page) and select the live channel that is being broadcast.

On iPhone/Android the live channel should look like in this image, with live stream playing as HTML5 above ajax chat:

Alternative: Mobile users can also broadcast RTMP using iOS / Android GoCoder app with External Encoder settings for that channel.
RTMP broadcasting may be more reliable on certain networks and connections than browser broadcasting.
RTMP stream can be delivered to other mobile users on website using HTML5 HLS & MPEG-DASH supported by this solution.

Latency: When streaming with WebRTC, other users can also playback directly as WebRTC, with minimal latency.
When streaming RTMP, playback as HLS & MPEG-DASH involves higher latency. Direct RTMP playback with minimal latency is possible with Flash player (PC).
If transcoding is required, extra latency is added.
